AI-Powered Instruct Clearly Sales Internship

A 16-week, learning-by-doing sales internship inside XOBiz’s Instruct Clearly business. What you will do

Real supervised sales work, not resume filler.

  • Research target accounts and identify workflow-training signals.
  • Build source-backed account briefs with facts, hypotheses, unknowns, and next actions.
  • Draft outreach, follow-up, LinkedIn/social support, and founder-content ideas for review.
  • Practice objections, discovery questions, warm-intro support, and partner/community routes.
  • Use CRM/review-queue discipline so XOBiz can reconstruct the work.
How AI fits

AI-powered, not AI-dependent.

You will learn to use AI for research, drafting, role-play, analysis, and pattern recognition. You will also learn when AI makes sales worse: invented facts, fake personalization, generic messages, weak judgment, confidentiality mistakes, and trust risk.

Team culture

Built like a team sport.

We practice, review the film, track the scoreboard, share what works, and improve the team playbook. Individual effort matters, but the operating culture is win as a team, lose as a team.

First-month safety system

You earn sales authority by passing gates.

Interns do not contact real targets just because the calendar advances. Before live outreach support, interns must show offer fluency, safe AI use, source-backed research, safe messaging, CRM discipline, reply handling, and role-play readiness.

Week 1

Learn XOBiz, Instruct Clearly, AI/data rules, and CRM basics.

Week 2

Build source-backed account briefs and identify workflow-training signals.

Week 3

Practice offer fluency, safe claims, and first-touch outreach drafting.

Week 4

Pass reply-handling, opt-out, role-play, and outreach qualification gates.

Resume outcomes

Leave with experience you can actually explain.

This internship is designed so students can point to credible artifacts and experiences, not just a title. Final portfolio examples must be safe, approved, and free of confidential prospect/client details.

  • source-backed account research and target recommendations
  • reviewed outreach drafts and follow-up support
  • LinkedIn, social, and founder-content draft support
  • AI-assisted sales workflow examples with human verification
  • CRM records, review-queue discipline, and sales-process documentation
  • performance-problem discovery prep and Instruct Clearly pilot-fit thinking
  • team sales playbook contributions and a portfolio-safe final artifact
Required reading

Two books support the sales curriculum.

Interns read Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss and Analyzing Performance Problemsby Robert Mager and Peter Pipe over the semester. The internship is not a book club; the books support listening, discovery, objection handling, performance diagnosis, and fit/no-fit judgment.

Role-specific application
