Standard brief terms / Effective September 17, 2026
Know what you are buying.
One account. A fixed fee. An agreed date. A straightforward first-brief guarantee.
These service terms supplement our website terms and control where the two differ about a Standard Executive Brief. Your accepted written order records the scope, dates, and this terms version. A website request is not an accepted order and does not charge you.
1. Price and included work
One Standard Executive Brief costs $950 USD, plus applicable tax. It covers one target company, one seller offering, one agreed geography, and one sales objective using public sources. The price does not change after we accept that scope.
You receive a one-page executive read; supporting account evidence; seller-fit analysis and reasons not to pursue; publicly evidenced stakeholder roles; a conversation card and copy-ready CRM note; and dated sources and open questions. Delivery includes an editable brief, PDF, and an AI-narrated audio read of the reviewed executive summary, with its text transcript. XOBiz reviews the research before delivery.
Standard does not include interviews, access to private systems, purchased datasets, guaranteed personal contact details, facility-by-facility research, market-sizing studies, CRM implementation, outbound execution, or ongoing monitoring. Any deeper Custom work needs a separate accepted fixed quote.
2. Before you pay
Send the account and website, what you sell, and what the conversation needs to accomplish. Give us a desired deadline and geography if relevant. No kickoff meeting is required. For later briefs, we can reuse your accepted seller context after confirming what has changed.
We check public-source coverage and available research and review capacity first. Then we email the scope, $950 Standard fee, applicable tax, exact reserved start and delivery dates, reservation deadline, and payment instructions. You accept those details before payment. If the sources or schedule cannot support useful work, you can decline without buying anything.
Payment is due in full before the confirmed start, unless a written procurement exception is agreed. If payment or required inputs arrive after the reservation deadline, we agree replacement dates with you before starting. There is no automatic subscription, renewal, or follow-on purchase.
3. Five-business-day delivery
We deliver by 5 p.m. Eastern time on the fifth business day after the confirmed start date. Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
The exact start and delivery dates are shown before payment; the clock does not start when you submit a request.
If we cannot meet the agreed date, you choose a new date or cancellation and a full refund for the undelivered brief. The same choice applies if sources prove insufficient after payment. We do not silently extend the deadline, make up missing facts, or force a Custom upgrade. A client-requested hold or scope change requires an agreed revised date.
Delivery means the complete brief and included files are accessible to your designated owner. An inaccessible link does not start the review or guarantee window.
4. First-Brief Fit Guarantee
If your first paid Standard Executive Brief is not useful preparation for the account conversation we agreed, tell us within seven calendar days of complete, accessible delivery and we will refund its full fee and any tax paid.
This applies once per customer organization, to its first paid Standard brief. Reply to the delivery email or email zach@xobiz.com so we can identify the order. No explanation, sales-result evidence, meeting, required usage, or revision attempt is necessary. You may choose a refund immediately; a correction request never delays a refund request.
We state the exact guarantee-expiration date and time in your delivery email. We initiate a timely refund within five business days, using the original payment route where supported, with no processing deduction. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post it. If the original route cannot accept a refund, we agree a secure alternative with you.
5. Factual corrections
Every Standard brief includes one consolidated factual correction request submitted within seven calendar days of delivery. We return in-scope corrections within three business days of that request. If our correction remains wrong, fixing it is not a new paid round. The first-brief refund remains available without trying corrections first.
A different account, seller offering, objective, additional research question, or development after the research cutoff is new scope, not a factual correction. Any new work requires your approval before an additional charge.
6. Cancellation and additional accounts
You can cancel an unstarted brief for a full refund. You can also cancel your first Standard brief after work starts for a full refund; we will not make you wait for delivery to exercise its protection. After work starts on a repeat brief, a change-of-mind cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Our delivery commitments, factual correction duties, and your rights for nonconforming work remain.
Additional Standard briefs cost $950 each. A bounded account pack lists every account and its individual start and due dates before payment; it does not promise every account within one five-day window. Each unstarted canceled unit is refunded at its stated per-brief price without repricing the others. The first-brief usefulness guarantee does not restart for repeat orders.
Custom is separately scoped and quoted. Its deliverables, dates, payment schedule, review, cancellation and refund terms are agreed in writing; the Standard price, turnaround and first-brief guarantee do not automatically apply.
7. Research and information boundaries
Facts link to sources; interpretations and hypotheses are labeled. Corporate statements do not establish a local site's needs, budget, or purchasing authority. We do not guarantee meetings, revenue, close rates, or a faster sales cycle.
Do not send confidential account information, credentials, or sensitive personal data through the public form. We arrange an appropriate channel and permissions if agreed Custom work needs nonpublic material. Our privacy policy explains website inquiry handling.
